My Background
I am a Holistic & Healing Arts Practitioner with an eclectic background in the fine, performing, and healing arts.
I have been practicing and teaching Vinyasa Flow yoga, meditation, breathing, Zen Shiatsu, mind-body hypnotherapy, energy healing, intuitive guidance, tarot, and astrology for over 28 years.
I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1996 with a BFA in Photography and minors in Ballet and Modern Dance.
I then studied at the School of Healing Arts in San Diego, CA where I trained in all the healing modalities I offer to you.
Since then I have continued to study and learn from a glorious variety of teachers who are included in my list below.
My Work
As a dancer, artist, and spiritually minded person from a young age, I feel passionately about the modalities I practice and teach. They are purposeful and meaningful, having enriched my life profoundly with their beautiful combination of intelligent movement, strength, fluidity, intuition, evolution, clarity, creativity, elegance, and interconnectedness.
When you and I work together, you will get to experience these gifts and benefits in your life too.
My wish for you is to have the agency, courage, and freedom to walk tall and proudly through your life with vibrant health, meaningful and connected relationships, and exuberant joy. We all go through inevitable changes in life ~ aging, stress, injury, illness, surgery, and the accompanying fluctuations of weight, strength, mobility, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
I am here to help you become more aware of your body, heart, mind, and spirit by offering you tools that help you move strongly, safely, and serenely through your life with health, joy, balance, and grace.
I create and hold the safe space in which your desired growth and transformation can actualize.
Why Work with Me?
I walk my talk. The modalities I offer you are the same ones I have been practicing in my life for decades. Naturally, they evolve and look somewhat different over time, and still their foundations and my commitment to them remain.
I am trauma-informed. Courageously, I have processed ~ and continue to process ~ trauma in my life through the same deep work that I share with you and has led me to life-changing and continuous personal healing and evolution.
I continue learning, evolving, and healing. I regularly engage in learning from esteemed teachers and practitioners in the holistic and healing arts to further my personal and professional paths.
This work is my calling ~ it is what I am meant to do.
When I am connected to myself ~ when I choose to focus on knowing myself deeply through practices that encompass all of me ~ my relationships and life experiences are infinitely healthier and more meaningful.
